Mary Anne Aiello
Mary Anne Aiello, Chickadee Music Director, has enjoyed many years of singing and dancing with young children as an early childhood educator and elementary school teacher. She believes in the magic of music in children's lives and the power of musical experience to bring families and communities together. Mary Anne completed Music Together® training with Lili Levinowitz, co-author of Music Together, in 2001. She sings with the Phinney Neighborhood Community Chorus and has great appreciation for American and world music traditions. Mary Anne attends Music Together classes with her young daughter and enjoys participating as a parent as well!
Sarah Nishioka
Sarah Nishioka, Chickadee Music Lead Teacher, became a registered Music Together teacher after completing training in 2001 with Lili Levinowitz, co-author of Music Together. She has been teaching Music Together classes for five years. She brings many years of experience and talents to our program, including 15 years of teaching in preschool co-ops, The Homeschool Resource Center, and homeschooling her own children. She teaches with a conviction that the language of music, dance and art are a vital component of true education. She thoroughly enjoys the Music Together experience.
Elena DeLisle-Perry
We welcome Elena DeLisle-Perry to the Chickadee Music teaching team! Elena has taught Music Together since 2004. Elena is the mother of a young daughter and enjoys being a Music Together parent as well. She graduated in 2003 with a BA in Jazz guitar, and has taught private guitar lessons the past eight years, as well as piano at the Santa Rosa Conservatory of Music. Elena spent her college years playing guitar in several bands and genres including Bluegrass, Rock and Jazz. She enjoys playing American Old Time music with her husband and plays banjo and fiddle as well as guitar.
